Hello! My name is Emma, and thank you for taking the time to visit my portfolio and learn more about me.
I was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, where I attended high school, Pellissippi State Community College, and currently the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s in Journalism and Electronic Media with a concentration in Creative Media.
I began my journey in graphic design when I was in high school. I joined the yearbook committee during my freshman year and rose to Editor-in-Chief by my senior year. I began to see the value in both printed and web art, and the impact it can make on people if done right.
From a young age, I have always written as a personal hobby. My experience from my high school’s yearbook opened the door to journalism. Before I graduated from Pellissippi State I had a strong inspiration to listen to the child in me and began to write again. Now I am never turning back. I am aiming for a career in movies and TV where I can use my passion for writing, design, and technological skills to spread happiness and inspiration to the masses.
